  • WHAT DOES CATHARSIS MEAN?

    • “Catharsis is an unburdening and relief from stress and emotional turmoil that leads to restoration and renewal.” Basically, that means we’re driven to find and share the truth among the false promises and disappointment. Figuring out what works for you is a journey, often one that is much longer than it needs to be. Let us help clear a path.

 

  • WHY SHOULD I CHOOSE YOU?

    • We want to be the catharsis to your skincare journey. We believe deeply in the science of skincare and always learning and growing. We apply our new knowledge and understanding to make steadfast, clear progress towards better, safer, more effective skincare, so we can reassure and inspire you in your skincare practice.

 

  • WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY “SKINCARE PRACTICE”?

    • Practice is the process of prioritizing what’s important to you and continuing to follow through with your goals persistently and efficiently. It is important to also realize that practices often have no end, though it is okay if they shift in priority.

    • Skincare practice is the consistent use of one or more skincare products that are good for your individual skin’s needs. There is no fix-all for perfect skin; as with anything worth having, it takes time, effort, and consistency. We deeply value this idea and want to help everyone through this journey together.

 

  • WILL SKINCARE CHANGE MY LIFE?

    • That depends on you! The practice of skincare will help. Self-love will help. Serums and lotions will probably help. A good diet will help. Sleep will help. Water will help. De-stressing and working out will help. Remember to love yourself--it’s the key to happiness.

  • WHERE DO YOU SHIP?

    • We ship to all 50 United States. Free shipping is currently only applicable for the contiguous 48 states.

    • Yes, via USPS Ground.

  • WHAT SHIPPING OPTIONS DO YOU OFFER?

  • WHEN WILL MY ORDER SHIP?

    • Are you excited? Because we are! Orders are processed within 1-3 business days. If you haven’t received a status update after 3 business days, please reach out to info@catharsiscoskincare.com.

 

  • WHERE IS MY PACKAGE?

    • Once your order has shipped, you will receive a tracking number via email. Please use that to check on the location of your order!

 

  • WHAT IF MY PACKAGE ARRIVES DAMAGED?

    • We’re so sorry to hear that! Please contact us as soon as possible within a week of delivery with a photo of the damage. We’re determined to make things right.

  • WHAT HAPPENS IF A PRODUCT IS OUT OF STOCK?

    • Though we strive to avoid this as often as possible, occasionally an item will be temporarily out of stock. If that is the case, our website will show it is unavailable and will be updated when it returns. Make sure you’re subscribed to our emails to catch the latest news on products and specials.

 

  • WHERE CAN I PURCHASE CATHARSIS CO. PRODUCTS?

    • Catharsis Co. products are currently only available on our website. Check back here for authorized retailers as they are added! If you are a retailer interested in stocking our products, please contact us at info@catharsiscoskincare.com.

 

  • DO YOUR PRODUCTS HAVE EXPIRATION/USE BY DATES?

    • Yes, as well as recommendations for use after opening.

      • Please Take Note! Once you’ve opened the product, for the sake of the effectiveness of the actives included, it is best to use it within two months. But the product should not go bad before its expiration date.

 

  • WHAT ARE THE APPROPRIATE AGES TO USE CATHARSIS CO. PRODUCTS?

    • Our products are designed for ages 13 and over, as long as your doctor hasn’t specifically recommended against a specific ingredient in our product. As always, if you’re unsure, please check with your medical care provider first.

 

  • DO YOU TEST ON ANIMALS?

    • We do not test on animals.

 

  • IS IT NORMAL TO FEEL TINGLING WHEN USING CATHARSIS CO. PRODUCTS?

    • Yes, depending on the product. Our serums are full of wonderfully active actives that are working together to make you look and feel beautiful. If you start to feel pain or abnormal results, stop use immediately and consult your doctor.

 

  • HOW DO I SIGN UP FOR YOUR EMAIL LIST?

RETURNS

  • WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?

    • We’re so sorry to hear you’re unhappy with our products! We want to do everything we can to make it right. We accept returns within 30 days with proof of purchase. Please contact us for steps at info@catharsiscoskincare.com.

    • We only accept returns of purchases bought directly from our website. If you purchased from an authorized retailer, please reach out to them to facilitate your return via their return policy.

    • We do not accept returns purchased from unauthorized resellers.

 

  • CAN I EXCHANGE A PRODUCT?

    • Yes, as long as you purchased it via our website within the last 30 days. Our goal is to help you find your catharsis. Please contact us at info@catharsiscoskincare.com for help finding another option or instructions on how to submit a return.

 

  • CAN I RETURN/EXCHANGE A GIFT?

    • If the person who purchased the gift for you did so via our website within the past 30 days, please contact us at info@catharsiscoskincare.com for instructions on how to submit a return.

    • If they purchased it via an authorized retailer, please contact that retailer for further instructions.

    • We do not accept returns purchased from unauthorized resellers.

 

 

  • DO I HAVE TO PAY RETURN SHIPPING COSTS?

    • No, you do not! We'll send you a return label

    • We currently accept Visa, Mastercard, Klarna, and Paypal.

  • DO YOU OFFER DISCOUNTS OR PROMO CODES?

    • We do, check out our social media for Sale Days and Double Point Days! There might even be an influencer with a promo code if you're on the search 👀

  • CAN I USE MORE THAN ONE PROMO CODE PER ORDER?

  • HOW DO I CREATE AN ACCOUNT?

    • Follow the Sign Up link, either here or at the top right of the screen. Then follow the instructions as they appear!

  • WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF HAVING AN ACCOUNT?

    • Great question. Having an account allows you to securely save payment methods, shipping addresses, shopping carts, and order information, making for a faster checkout experience.

    • It also allows you to sign up for the Cathartic Rewards program, which nets you Cathartic Coins which can be redeemed for discounts on your next purchase (they can even buy the whole thing!), and make your birthday even more special :)

  • HOW DO I RESET / RECOVER MY PASSWORD?

    • If you incorrectly enter your password or forget it, there is a prompt in the Sign In section for you to recover your password. Click the link and follow the instructions.

  • DO YOU SHARE ANY OF THE INFORMATION I PROVIDE TO YOU WITH OTHER PARTIES?

    • We do not. If that ever changes, we will let you know first.
